Community RyderShowtime Mission Statement RyderShowtime is a youth baseball program committed to preserving the integrity of the game, preparing athletes for excellence in ALL levels of organized baseball, and providing them the proper values to be successful in life: NO SHORTCUTS! We are a not-for-profit youth organization, currently with teams with players ranging in ages from 12 to 21 years old. Our objective is to teach the fundamentals of baseball. We provide a challenging environment that will enable players to enjoy the baseball experience, develop physical fitness, self- confidence, discipline, and good sportsmanship so they may carry these qualities into their future life experiences. Your sponsorship and generosity will assist RyderShowtime with many fixed expenses, keeping players' fees affordable to all. Your sponsorship will be used for expenses such as: • Uniforms and Equipment • Field maintenance and facility rentals • Team fees such as Insurance, league fees and umpiring. WE BELIEVE players are made on the practice field. WE BELIEVE there are no shortcuts and winning is a bi-product of attitude, discipline and hard work. WE BELIEVE a college education is a necessity, receiving a scholarship to play is an honor, and any and all opportunities beyond that are the rewards. WE BELIEVE through a fundamentally sound program we can assist players in developing old school values in the pursuit of athletic proficiency. WE BELIEVE a structured training and development environment will enhance and promote three primary player goals: 1. To train hard and develop the necessary fundamental skills to make a High School Varsity Team 2. To put forth strong dedication and commitment to improvement which advances skills to the level of college play and promotes scholarship opportunities 3. To obtain the proper skills to improve the possibilities of playing professional baseball WE BELIEVE having completed the journey with RyderShowtime our players will leave the program having: 1. Developed strong life skills, leadership, courage and sportsmanship 2. Developed into disciplined, value-driven citizens of the community 3. Acquired respect for the game and the community in which we live WE BELIEVE the lives of players, coaches and participating families should be enriched by their participation and experiences within the RyderShowtime programs. The past programs have helped shape the professional opportunities of close to 20 professional players.
