DIRECTIONS TO DC PREP EDGEWOOD CAMPUSES DC Prep's Edgewood Campuses are located in two newly renovated buildings north of Rhode Island Avenue in Northeast Washington, north of the Rhode Island Avenue metro stop and near Trinity College and Catholic University. The Middle Campus is at 701 Edgewood Street and is adjacent to Edgewood Terrace. The directions below are to the Middle Campus. To reach the Elementary Campus and Home Office at 707 Edgewood Street, walk down the hill from the Middle Campus, then take your first right on a one block extension of Edgewood Street. The elementary building will be halfway down the block on your left — a bright orange building with yellow trim. Our parking lot is for staff only, but you can usually find parking on the street within a block or two of the campuses. We recommend finding the location first by car and then looking for parking. If you have trouble, call the Middle Campus at 202-832-5700, the Elementary Campus at 202-635-4411, or the Home Office at 202-635-4590. We look forward to seeing you. By Metro: DC Prep is a 15 minute walk from two metro stops — the Rhode Island Avenue metro and the Brookland/Catholic University of America metro. From the Rhode Island stop, cross to the north side of the street, and walk east to 10th Street. Turn left on 10th and follow it to Franklin. Turn left and cross the bridge on Franklin, turning left after the bridge onto 7th Street. DC Prep will be just in front of you, a low brick building surrounded by a wooden fence. From the Brook land /Catholic University metro walk to Monroe Street, NE and take a right. Cross the bridge and turn left on 7th Street, NE. Continue on 7th until you cross Franklin Street. The Middle Campus will be directly in front of you, where 7th Street turns into Edgewood Street. By Car: From Union Station: Go north on North Capitol Street. Turn right on Rhode Island Avenue (exit via a ramp) . Follow Rhode Island to 4th Street, NE. Turn left on 4th Street and take your first right onto Edgewood (do not turn into the entrance to Rhode Island Avenue Shopping Center which comes just before Edge wood) . Follow Edgewood about five blocks until it bears left and becomes 7th Street. DC Prep's middle campus will be just in front of you, a low brick building surrounded by a wooden fence. From Dupont Circle: Head south on Massachusetts Avenue to Scott Circle. Go three-quarters of the way around the circle to Rhode Island Avenue. Follow Rhode Island through Logan Circle and across North Capital Street to 4th Street, NE. Turn left on 4th Street and take your first right onto Edgewood (Do not turn into the entrance to Rhode Island Avenue Shopping Center which comes just before Edgewood) . Follow Edgewood about five blocks until it bears left and becomes 7th Street. DC Prep's middle school will be just in front of you, a low brick building surrounded by a wooden fence. From the National Cathedral, over Rock Creek Park: From the Cathedral, take Wisconsin north and turn right onto Porter Street. Follow Porter across Connecticut over Rock Creek Park. Porter becomes Klingle Road. Pass the colorful mural on your left and turn right at the first light onto Adams Mill Road. Stay left onto Irving, veering up the hill, and continue on Irving for about 15 blocks. When Irving meets Park Road, take a right onto Park into one of the two left lanes, and immediately bear left to Michigan Avenue, passing Children's Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center on your left. Cross North Capitol and take your first right on Franklin. Follow Franklin to 7th Street, which is just before the bridge. Turn right onto 7th Street. DC Prep will be just ahead of you, a low brick building with a wooden fence in front. From Chevy Chase, the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Military Road: Go east on Military Road, through Rock Creek Park. Military becomes Missouri Avenue once you cross Georgia. At the intersection with Riggs Road, take a right onto North Capitol Street, heading south. After crossing Michigan Avenue, look out for the right hand exit to Rho de Island Avenue (via a ramp) , and take a left onto Rhode Island. Turn left on 4th Street and take your first right onto Edgewood (Do not turn into the entrance to Rhode Island Avenue Shopping Center which comes just before Edge wood) . Follow Edgewood about five blocks until it bears left and becomes 7th Street. DC Prep's middle school will be just in front of you, a low brick building surrounded by a wooden fence.

DIRECTIONS TO DC PREP BENNING ELEMENTARY CAMPUS DC Prep Benning Elementary Campus is located at 100 41 st Street, NE in the former DCPS Benning Elementary School near the corner of 41 st and East Capitol Streets in NE DC. Our parking lot is for staff only, but you can usually find parking on the street within a block or two of the campus. We recommend finding the location first by car and then looking for parking. By Metro: DC Prep Benning is a 10 minute walk from the Benning Road Metro stop (Blue line) . When you exit on Benning Road, turn toward 44 th Street and walk Northwest on Benning. Take your first left onto Blaine Street. Walk to take your second left onto 42 nd street. 42 nd will turn right and become Ames Street. Follow Ames to its end at 41 st street. Our building will be in front of you. DC Prep's entrance is at the left (south) end of the building. By Car: From Anacostia Freeway (DC-295 N) : Heading north on DC 295, take the Benning Road exit on your left. Merge onto Benning Road and make a U-turn at Anacostia Ave. Cross Minnesota Ave and you will pass the library and the Boys & Girls Club. Turn right at 42 nd Street. 42 nd street turns right and becomes Ames Street. Follow Ames to end at 41 st Street. You will be facing our building and DC Prep's entrance is at the left (south) end of the building. From Gallaudet University : Head southeast on Florida Avenue. Turn right down 14 th Street. Turn left at H Street and continue on Benning Road. Cross Minnesota Ave and you will pass the library and the Boys & Girls Club. Turn right at 42 nd Street. 42 nd street turns right and becomes Ames Street. Follow Ames to end at 41 st Street. You will be facing our building and DC Prep's entrance is at the left (south) end of the building. From Fort Dupont Area : Head east on Alabama Ave and continue on Bowen Road. Turn left on Southern Avenue. Turn left at Benning Road. Turn left at East Capitol Street. Turn right on 41 st Street. Directions from DC Prep Edge wood Campuses to DC Prep Benning Elementary Campus : Turn right onto 7 th street. Turn right onto Franklin Street. Turn right on 12 th St. At 12 th and Rhode Island, go straight through the intersection onto Saratoga Ave. Then, turn right onto Brentwood Rd NE. Turn a slight left onto 9 th St NE. At a Y intersection, turn left onto Mt. Olivet Rd. Mt. Olivet Rd. becomes 17 th St. Follow 17 th St to Benning Rd. Turn left on Benning Road. Cross Minnesota Ave and you will pass the library and the Boys & Girls Club. Turn right at 42 nd Street. 42 nd street turns right and becomes Ames Street. Follow Ames to end at 41 st Street. You will be facing our building and DC Prep's entrance is at the left (south) end of the building. Directions from DC Prep Benning Elementary Campus to DC Prep Edge wood Campuses : Turn right on to Ames. Turn left onto 42 nd St. Turn left onto Benning Road. Turn right on 17 th St NE. Follow this as it becomes Mt. Olivet Rd. At a Y intersection, turn right onto 9 th Ave. Follow 9 th as it becomes Brentwood Rd. Turn left onto Saratoga. Follow Saratoga across Rhode Island Ave. as it becomes 12 th St NE. Turn left on Franklin St. Turn left onto 7 th St.
